On May 1, 2025, the ClinicCases hosting service will shut down. When I started ClinicCases in 2007, there were no easy-to-use, online case managements systems. ClinicCases was first of its kind. As the years have gone by, however, many excellent competing services have emerged. The rising costs and manpower needs of running a small hosting service, along with the signficant efforts needed to develop the software, have made it too difficult for us to continue.
Development on the open source software project will stop immediately. The Github source code repository will be put in read-only mode and will eventually be archived.
Current Hosting Customers: If you haven't heard from us yet, we will be reaching out to you to discuss migrating your ClinicCases data to a new provider. We recommend either Clio or LegalServer. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to us by email with any questions you may have. Those Who Run ClinicCases on your own server: There will be no more feature or security updates to this software. For the sake of your data's security, it is recommended that you migrate to another case management solution as soon as possible.
